It’s more than strange that the National Campaign Coordinator of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Kofi Adams has not heard of famed Kumawood actor-Agya Koo–and yet, he knows and has heard of John Dumelo.
Agya Koo announced at the presser that to help Nana Addo win, he has established the ‘AGYA KOO AGENDA 57% FOR NANA ADDO’ movement.
The plan is to work hard to get the NPP flagbearer 57% of the vote to marshall him into office to replace the insensitive Mahama government.
Other Kumawood stars such as Nyankuta, Ras Nene and Matilda Asante were also at the press conference and all threw their weight behind the leader of the opposition party
A few hours after Agya Koo made news for endorsing NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo–and saying, he has chosen Nana Addo because the President John Mahama and administration have killed the Ghana Movie Industry–Kofi Adams has thrown a big jab at him.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosi Sem show on Thursday, Kofi Adams who’s also the National Organizer of the NDC stated that he’s not interested in Kumawood movies and Agya Koo’s endorsement of Nana Akufo Addo will not fetch the party anything.
“Who is Agya Koo and where is he? I’ve never heard of him. I don’t watch Kumawood movies. I prefer Shirley Frimpong Manso and John Dumelo’s movies,” Kofi Adams said.
