Smashing Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara has been adjudged as the highest paid woman on TV, for the fifth successive year, according to the latest TV rich list released by Forbes.
Colombian-American actress Vergara, who plays Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family, made $43m for the year under review.
The majority of Vergara’s earnings, quite ironically, did not come from TV, but from major endorsement deals she signed due to her fame as a tv star.
The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco was second, raking in $24.5m – Cuoco actually made majority of her money from tv, as she earns, along with her fellow male co-stars, $1m for every episode of the CBS sitcom airs.
