NPP To Launch Manifesto On October 18

Nana Akufo-Addo

The opposition New Patriotic Party have announced October 18 as the day for the launch of the party’s manifesto.
The party’s director of Communications Nana Akomea made the disclosure on Joy News Wednesday whilst talking about the manifesto ‘highlights’ presented by President Mahama Tuesday ahead of the NDC’s campaign launch.
The two major parties usually play hide and seek with their manifesto releases, with each accusing the other of wanting to see their document to steal their ideas. This causes such an important document to be delayed and delayed and then released too close to the elections.
The NDC launches it’s manifesto this weekend, on Saturday, September 18. The NPP have chosen Thursday, October 18, for their launch, Nana Akomea said, adding that the venue is yet to be decided.
