Two protesters have been arrested after they attempted to rush the stage during the debut of US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte on ‘Dancing with the Stars’.
Lochte’s actions off the field during the Olympics, in which he lied about being robbed, has garnered a movement in opposition of him.
The swimmer debuted on DWTS Monday night, but protesters entered the venue undercover determined to voice their opposition to his behaviour in Rio.
Lochte and dance partner Cheryl Baker had just finished their performance and were being critiqued by the judges when the incident ocurred.
The two protesters rushed the stage but were stopped by officials. They were arrested and have been booked for trespassing.
