Lucky Mensah, who has emerged as one of the NPP’s toughest celebrity supporters this election, has denied any money changed hands for him to be doing his current work.
The singer has told Joy FM that is simply not the case.
Lucky Mensah campaigned for the NDC twice in 2008 and 2012, but has apparently become disillusioned since, and switched to the NPP. That hasn’t gone down well with some ruling party surrogates, with some (Mzbel) accusing him of doing it simply for cash.
That intensified after a meeting with Nana last Friday, during which some reports claimed he was handed ‘noko fio’ – Mensah has denied all that.
