The rapper/TV personality and the pop diva separated in 2014 after six years of marriage, with their divorce yet to be finalised. While Mariah is already engaged to marry Australian billionaire James Packer, Nick has ruled out ever walking down the aisle again because he thinks making a relationship official ruins everything.
When asked if he would tie the knot again, the 35-year-old said “never” to reporters at the Harper’s Bazaar event for Icons by Carine Roitfield and explained, “That messes everything up. That takes the fairy tale out of it. Cinderella didn’t get married, she just lived happily ever after.”
He had previously told DuJour magazine he highly doubted he would get hitched again, adding, “There’s like a 50/50 chance of a marriage working. If it didn’t work out for you the first time, and you still survived it, you probably shouldn’t do it again.”
