"I’ve Not Used 'Juju’ On My Former Artistes – Richie

Richie

I can say for sure that I am not the only who has forgotten about Ziggy , the “you sey wetin ” hit maker. I cannot even remember those lyrics let alone make him out in a crowd. Asem’s music career we can all attest is not on a bed of roses– the only former artiste of Richie’s Lynx Entertainment doing well for herself is the “wengeze” hit maker Eazzy and even her she is struggling to be heard.
Ghanaians seem not to understand why all these artiste did not make it after they parted ways with their former manager and people have already ascribed superstition to it.
So Richie has finally broken the silence on that. Speaking on Pundit show on GHONE TV hosted by George Quaye, the host of the show asked him whether he has used juju on his former acts as it’s being circulated, he said, no, he didn’t.
According to Richie, the work of management is not an easy task for just one act to assume the role of manager, financier, among others.
“It’s an insult to God and my company for me to use ‘juju’ on my former artistes. Here at Lynx Entertainment, I’ve a staff of about 12 that work on various artistes.”
He continued, “Managing an artiste is a full-time job, it’s never a part-time job, so if you leave and wants to work on your own, it’s not an easy job at all. Once again, let me make it clear that I’ve not used ‘Juju’ on any artiste.” Richie unequivocally denying using Juju on his former acts.
Richie again disclosed that he’s now a former musician and just concentrating on making artistes on his record label big.
