The Black Stars of Ghana were beaten 1-0 by the Russian senior national team in an international friendly game played in Moscow Tuesday evening.
The game was a test for the 2018 World Cup hosts, playing in front of a buoyant home crowd.
Fedor Smolov scored in the 19th minute to give the hosts the lead, one they held till the end of the encounter.
