It's Sad That Ghanaians Did Not Turn Out To Support The Black Stars Against Rwanda – Deputy Skipper Dede Ayew

Black Stars assistant captain Andre Ayew Dede has expressed grave disappointment with the number of Ghanaians who turned out to support the team over the weekend in their Afcon qualifier against the Amavubis of Rwanda.
The Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by Rwanda in the dead rubber qualifier, with Samuel Tetteh scoring his debut goal and Ayew missing out through injury.
Yet despite the relative unimportance of the tie, Ayew was unimpressed with the level of support handed to the team. Speaking to GTV after the game, the crocked deputy skipper said Ghanaian’s should have turned out more for the game.
“The turnout today was very low and it is sad not to have our own people support us.” Ayew said.
“Without them we are not the Black Stars. We still need their support.”
Ghana brought the Afcon 2017 qualifiers to a close with a home 1-1 draw, with the stadium recording particularly low turnout.
