The ‘rap dacta’ Okyeame Kwame has announced imminent plans to release a number of peace songs as we go down the home stretch towards the 2016 elections.
A number of singers have been throwing themselves knee deep into the campaign for peace for the country as the hotly contested elections come up, including dancehall king Shatta Wale.
Speaking on 3Fm, the rapper revealed that he has three collaboration peace songs in the works, with one featuring Daddy Lumba set to drop pretty soon.
“I have three songs for the season. I’ve done one peace song with Daddy Lumba which will be released any moment from now.” he said. “Apart from that, I have another one with Skyler Jett who is a Grammy Award music producer and the other with Kaywa.” he added.
