Anybody remember when this cool and usually collected gentleman ‘shocked fans’ by saying that the NDC are running a ‘buy one insult, get two free’ promotion for this year’s elections?
Yeah, I do too, because it happened just mere days ago.
But speaking at the Peace Festival 2016 held by the Musama Disco Christo Church at Gomoa Eshiem in the Central Region, Ghana’s second gentleman said the political parties should concentrate on selling their messages to the electorates to win them over, rather than insulting each other.
He said in such a delicate time, tolerance and not confrontation is what is needed, therefore the parties must eschew the politics of insults.
But you can’t say that you won’t practice tolerance one week and then turn around the next week and say that is exactly what is needed!
Gh politricktians for you.
