The last time we heard from Bukom Banku post his bleaching headlines was when he appeared at NDC’s campaign launch in Cape Coast a few weeks ago.
And now, he’s back in news for allegedly assaulting a woman whose only crime was to refuse him a kiss.
Banku was earlier today-Friday brought before a Circuit Court for assaulting a hairdresser at Bukom in the Greater Accra Region.
Police say “Bukom Banku entered the shop of the complainant, Martha Nelson, and demanded a kiss from her. After her refusal to kiss him, the boxer allegedly slapped and punched the lady,” reports Citi Fm.
“After the physical assault, he snatched her phone and crashed it on the ground. Bukom Banku subsequently said he would replace her phone with a Galaxy,” the website adds.
Banku who have admitted in multiple interviews that he beats the hell out of his three wives is to reappear in court on Monday, September 5.
