Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club Limited have added another confusing chapter to a farcical season with the termination of the first team contract of head coach Sérgio Traguil.
Traguil took over the position from the effective yet embattled Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi, who was relieved of his position despite an explosive start that put the club well on their way to a first league title in seven years.
Traguil has struggled in all his games so far, and after a disappointing loss to Bechem United over the weekend that all but knocked Hearts out of the title race, the top brass has decided to shake up the technical team.
Traguil would go back to his former role as head of Hearts youth team Auroras, whilst former Ghana international Yaw Preko would take charge of the first team. There are three games left in the current season, somewhat fitting as Preko becomes the third tactician for the Phobians this season.
