Two reporters were injured Saturday when the convoy of the Vice President, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, was involved in an accident in the Central Region.
GTV’s Nutor Bibini Nutor and Radio Gold’s Bernard Allotey were in a vehicle part of the Veep’s convoy that was rammed by a man, identified as one Clement Atsu.
The convoy was on the Winneba-Cape Coast highway while travelling to Dominase for the 20th anniversary of Nana Kwebu Ewusi when the incident occurred.
The injured reporters have been treated and discharged, whilst the perpetrator would be arraigned before court today.
