How do you get publicity for a state sponsored, historical drama about your country – base it on the biggest tv show of the moment, Game of Thrones.
Kazakhstan is reportedly producing their own version of the hit HBO show, set to tell the story of a time of great turbulence in the history of the country.
The show would be state sponsored and aims at snatching back the narrative about the country’s history from Russian propaganda.
