Ghana and Nigeria are practically siblings, our similarities being no worse for being separated by two tiny Francophone nations.
And like siblings, our relationship oscillates from childish rivalry to near hatred – but always remains fascinating.
So when Nigerian engineer Tolu Bablo (@ToluBablo) visited Ghana last weekend, and he decided to live tweet his entire stay, initially in Accra and then to Takoradi – he illuminated a lot of the differences between either country – even if his ready wit and hyperbolic tendencies made it seem like he was kidding sometimes.
He got some things right, most wrong. Biggest problem was he resided in Takoradi rather than Accra. Accra is the real madhouse.
His tweets were enormously entertaining anyway. Check them out below…

His tweets were very interesting. lol I followed it. And I’m kinda glad atleast someone doesn’t think Ghana is bad, although there’s still massive suffering on-going. And his tweet abt MM2 was so on-point. It’s always crazy in there, unnecessary noise, etc….even in the mornings. I wonder why. lol
