UT Bank capo Prince Kofi Amoabeng has thrown cold water on oft repeated rumours that rapper Sarkodie owns any sorts of shares in his company.
The two are close pals and recently addressed a youth business forum together, and that association has usually led to assumptions of being business partners.
But speaking on Accra Fm Saturday, Amoabeng denied that was the case. He said they were good friends, sure, but Sarkodie does not have any stake in his company.
“Its never true.” Amoabeng told show host  DJ Premiere.
“I think its because they see me hanging out with him that’s why but its never true”.
Amoabeng, interestingly, added that he might consider handing Sarkodie a 50% stake in the company if he asked simply because they were such close pals and because “he is my idol.”
