OBINIM SPEAKS – Says Fraud Allegation Is A Frame Up And Accuser Is An Illiterate Who Cannot Possess That Much Money

I would say something about the pot calling the kettle black but I doubt Obinim has the capacity to absorb that kind of metaphor.
The victorious founder and leader of the International GodsWay Church (IGWC), Bishop Daniel Obinim, has addressed the issue of fraud that popped up and led to his arrest after he turned himself in over a separate issue of alleged assault.
A businessman, now identified as Bismark Kusi, reported the Bishop to Police that he had defrauded him of Ghc 11.9m in gold, which he had sent to him in a bid to retrieve an earlier amount of Ghc 780,000 he had lost to a fetish priest.
Speaking to an adoring crowd of followers after his release on bail, Obinim denied the allegations entirely. He said he does not know the man anywhere, and doubts someone like him could command the kind of amount he’s being accused of defrauding. He says he is being framed to tarnish his image.

“I have no idea of the young man. I have never set eyes on him before in my entire life.” Obinim told his teeming crowd of followers. “As I looked at him at the police station, I asked myself; how can a young man who has probably never been to school, have that much money to be given to me?

“I know he is just being used to embarrass me as a man of God. But I warn him, he should go and ask about all the people who started picking issues with me and how they ended up. If I am a true man of God, then let my God speak for me. You cannot disgrace me like this and go free, my God will speak and you will all see what will happen to them and their families,”

The God of Obinim, who directs him to flog pregnant teens in church, would speak for him. Be afraid. Be very afraid.
