Britney Spears is appealing to National Football League bosses to invite her to perform at the Super Bowl in 2017, insisting she’s capable to play the Halftime Show.
After Adele revealed she turned down an offer to perform after which NFL later came out to debunk her claims— well one man’s trash they have said is another’s treasure, Britney admits she’s ready – as long as she has someone else to share the big stage with.
“I would probably do that— I would have to have a little support group, another artist of course. I don’t think you would ever do the Super Bowl alone. That would be kind of scary” she told BBC.
The pop star previously appeared on the Super Bowl stage in 2001 alongside Aerosmith, Nelly, Mary J. Blige, and her then-boyfriend Justin Timberlake with his group NSYNC.
