What could have been a well deserved and needed holiday for the Law family took an uneventful turn as Denis collapsed at the airport even before they could reach their destination.
The Manchester United legend who starred between the years of 1962 to 1973 according to reports was rushed to the hospital after he collapsed in front of his wife Diane and other passengers muttering the words ” I don’t feel well”.
Seconds before leaving Manchester Airport, the 76-year-old said: “I don’t feel well” and blacked out before he was rushed to Trafford General Hospital.
Doctors put the incident down to a vasovagal condition — where sufferers faint unexpectedly . He was sent home afterwards.
Denis Law is United’s third top scorer with 237 goals and he and his wife are both cancer survivors.
