Though hilarious, once bitten they always say is twice as shy—after 18 years of marriage and two years back and forth from the court room, comedian Chris and Malaak Compton finalised their divorce on Monday .
According to reports, the former couple both appeared before a judge on Monday (22Aug16) and had the divorce officially confirmed. Other details however such as how much Chris paid his ex are unclear. However, it was previously reported that he was due to pay Malaak upwards of $20 million (£15 million).
It is also unknown how much Chris will pay in child support for his two biological children, as well as if he will pay anything to support Ntombi.
Chris has no plans to tie the knot again though. The funnyman told crowds during a stand-up comedy set in New York City last month that another marriage is not on the cards for him.
“Not even if it cured the whole world’s AIDS,” he said.
Chris has been dating actress Megalyn Echikunwoke since last year (15), but they didn’t make their public debut as a couple until February (16).
