REVEALED: History's Greatest Olympian Michael Phelps Purchased Arizona Mansion For $2.5m

Michael Phelps is the greatest Olympian in history, winning 23 Olympic gold medals in his career. Having retired after this year’s games, he needs a retirement ‘home’ more than anything.
And being Phelps, the one he splashed on is for no mere mortals. The swimmer purchased a mansion in Scottsdale, Arizona, last December, where he plans to settle down now that his career is over. And the price for that mansion is staggering, TMZ reports.
According to the site, Phelps spent $2.5m on the mansion, whose specifications include, of course, a giant pool.
The mansion reportedly has 5 bedrooms and 6 baths, and construction ended on it right before Phelps bought it. It’s a brand new state of the art abode where the American hopes to install his family – fiance Nicole Johnson and their infant son, as he commences life after being an athlete.
