Rappers/actors T.I. and Queen Latifah are teaming up to produce a restaurant-based comedy. The Whatever You Like hit maker will also star in the film with Mike Epps, as the two play brothers in The Trap.
Epps and his partner Nile Evans wrote the story, which features the two siblings as they attempt to save their family’s dilapidated restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia.
The project reunites T.I., real name Clifford Harris, with his ATL director Chris Robinson, who has been tapped to helm the film. The filmmaker is also a renowned music video director, having created promos for artists including T.I., Jay Z, and Alicia Keys.
