At NDC’s campaign launch in Cape Coast yesterday, several of the party’s prominent and active campaigners mounted the big state to charge sympathisers with victory and inspirational words.
A key figure of the party-Nii Lanety Vaderpuije who spoke at the event mocked the physical height of the opposition party’s flagbearer-Nana Akufo-Addo.
He said: “The presidency is not for short people.”
Several Ghanaians on GhanaCelebrities.Com’s Facebook page have commented on the issue–mainly condemning Vaderpuije and throwing jabs at him.
Ansah Owusu wrote “Is far better to vote for a short man with wisdom than to vote for a tall man wit empty head, u claim to be tall n yet u fool like dis then I wonder how otoolege u would hav been if u were short as u are trying to portray.”
And Generational Thinker had this to say; “Foolish man seekin ppl to vote for NDC… is he telling us that there’s nobody in NDC who is shot all what Nii lanetey is still foolish with foolish talk in a foolish party.”
