The Human Rights Court in Accra has today dismissed a case filed by the former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Paul Awentimi Afoko against the party–centred around his suspension.
Afoko had sought the court to declare his suspension unconstitutional but the court has dismissed the lawsuit against the party.
The suspended Chairman sued the party in December last year, claiming his suspension was a breach of the NPP’s constitution.
The dismissal clears the way for the NPP to fully go ahead with it 2016 campaign.
