'Criminal Minds' Star Thomas Gibson Kicked Off Show After Getting Into A Fight With A Producer

The star of the long running CBS drama ‘Criminal Minds’, Thomas Gibson, has been kicked off the show after he got into a fight with a producer, reportedly kicking him.
Gibson has been the show’s lead since it came on air 11 years ago, but has been let go because of what reports describe as a pattern of violence.
He reportedly hit producer Virgil Williams after they had a disagreement over an episode Gibson was directing, with Variety claiming that was the third incident in recent years, leading to the studio deciding to cut their losses.
Gibson, who played Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, released a statement on the altercation, apologising for it.
“There were creative differences on the set and a disagreement. I regret that it occurred,” he said in the statement.

“I love Criminal Minds and have put my heart and soul into it for the last twelve years.
“I had hoped to see it through to the end, but that won’t be possible now. I would just like to say thank you to the writers, producers, actors, our amazing crew, and, most importantly, the best fans that a show could ever hope to have.”
The show returns for its twelfth season on 28 September, at which point Gibson’s character would be written off the show.
