Bad Boys 3 Release Date Pushed Back

Bad Boys 3’s release date has been pushed back until early 2018. The third instalment of the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence franchise was due to hit cinemas from June 2017, but has now been pushed back to January 12 2018.
Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will once again play the roles of Miami detectives Burnett and Lowery, having first starred as the pair in the original film in 1995.
Michael Bay directed the first two Bad Boys movies, but will not return for this third film. Instead, Joe Carnahan will take charge.
It wasn’t known if Will, who’s currently gracing theatres in Suicide Squad, would definitely return to the franchise, but he confirmed the news earlier this year in a chat with BBC Radio 1 Xtra.
“I saw Martin a few weeks ago. I haven’t seen him in about two years. We looked at each other. We hugged. In that moment, we knew we were making another Bad Boys. We’re definitely doing another one,” he told delighted listeners.
