Nana Akuffo-Addo Is A Personal Friend – EC Chairperson Charlotte Osei

Charlotte Osei was busy explaining the challenges to election rigging on Good Evening Ghana last night, saying she couldn’t steal the election even if she wanted to.
In another portion of her interview with Kwaku Sakyi Addo, the EC boss was also asked about her personal relationship to the top two candidtates in the race – President John Dramani Mahama and opposition leader Nana Akuffo-Addo.
According to Mrs Osei, Nana Addo is a personal friend of hers, someone she has known many years through legal practice. She said she first met the President in 2012, although they first came into contact a year prior when he appointed her chair of the NCCE.
Mrs Osei also said that she wouldn’t be voting in this year’s election, although she urged everyone else to do so.
