At least 21 people have died after a power plant exploded in Central China today-Thursday, August 11.
According to reports, five more people have been wounded–three of the injured are said to be seriously hurt.
Chinese authorities have said the explosion was caused after a high pressure steam tube broke at a power station in Danyang, Hubei province.
Chinese news site Huanqiu.com says the pipe ruptured at 3.20pm Beijing time on Thursday at the Ma Dian Gan Shi Power Generating Company site.
