M.anifest Tapped As Music Supervisor For Film Adaptation Of Nigerian Novel 'On Monday Of Last Week'

M.anifest is soon set to take his talents into the world of cinema as he has revealed that he is to serve as the musical director for the upcoming film adaptation of the short story ‘On Monday of Last Week’.
The short story, part of the critically acclaimed anthology ‘The Thing Around Your Neck’, written by celebrated Nigerian novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; has been tapped for the big screen, and the Ghanaian lyricist is set to play a role in the adaptation.
The rights to the adaptation were purchased by Akosua Adoma Owusu’s Obibini pictures, and the globally renowned director would be at the helm of the project.
Nigerian Chinasa Ogbuagu would star as the story’s protagonist, Kamara, with Peter Rini, Karyn Parsons, Jill Shackner and 4-year old model, Farouk James Prempeh – all part of the cast.
And now, a heavyweight addition has been made to the crew.
