PHOTOS: French Gymnast Who Broke His Leg In The Olympics Undergoes Surgery And Is Already Back On His Feet

The French gymnast who broke his leg in a horrifying manner whilst competing in the Olympics, Samir Said, is already on the road to recovery after successfully undergoing surgery.
Said was competing in the gymanstics vault competition when after flipping into the air, he landed awkwardly, breaking his leg which was seen hanging at an excruciatingly awkward angle.
Things got even worse for Said when the paramedics carrying him off to be treated dropped his stretcher.
After undergoing surgery at the Vitoria Barra Hospital in Rio, Said has already been pictured walking gingerly on his leg, with some help, of course. He’s still recuperating, and should undergo extensive physical therapy, but he should be back on his feet soon.
