The British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, is an avid football fan. More than that, he is a rabid West Ham United fan.
The down to earth diplomat who lives on twitter has been over the moon since news of Ayew’s record £20m to the Hammers was broached. Andre completed the move late last night to join this season’s Europa League contenders.
Over on twitter, Benjamin has been posting pics and statuses detailing his relationship with the Ayew’s and telling anyone who would listen how he and former Marseille teammate Dimitri Payet would tear up the Premiership this season.
It would be difficult to find someone more excited about this move than Benjamin.
