Some supporters of the NDC were upset when President Mahama appointment Nana Oye Lithur as a Minister, owning to the fact that she was not a full blown NDC member—and the president responded by saying the appointment was based purely on her competence and experience.
Now, Nana Oye Lithur has fully converted—saying, she is now an NDC member.
In an interview with Kasapa Fm, Nana Oye revealed that she has now joined the NDC and ready to do active politics and campaigning for the party to win the 2016 elections.
‘I’m part of NDC now. I was not part of the NDC when I was appointed as a minister. Everything is making me part of the NDC now. The social democratic principles, the leadership in president Mahama, the social development agenda, the people oriented agenda and the team, that is what has made me become a part of the NDC,’ she said.
Nana Oye Lithur who is married to Mr. Tony Lithur, the President’s lawyer said she will continue to be a human rights advocate—even as a political activist.
Who cares, you can be anything you want, it is your choice.
you have always been ndc. and you have always hidden your true agenda. it’s a shame the things we celebrated you for like caring about th eplight of women was just a sham to get popular
