Former IBF Bantanweight champion Joseph ‘King Kong’ Agbeko has joined his voice to the throng of prominent Ghanaians calling for peace before, during and after the December 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary polls.
In a statement provided to Graphic Online, Agbeko calls on Ghanaians to maintain the peace we are semi famous for.
According to him, boxers fight savagely in the ring, but outside it become bff’s again, as the time for the sport is over and life goes on.
So the parties and Ghanaian’s must also adopt that mindset and move on after the polls, win or lose.
Ghana faces a make or break elections in December, with both the NDC and NPP gunning for the top spot and neither looking like they would be particularly pleased with losing.
