Kumawood actor-Lil Win, real name Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin says he has featured in 300 Ghanaian movies for free—we mean pro bono.
In total, Nkansah has featured in about 500 movies but he says he was not paid a dime for about300 of such movies.
He told Kwame Adinkra on Abusua Nkomo that:  “I have never received up to GH¢10,000 for featuring in the movie, never! Kwame I would have been fabulously rich if producers were paying that much. Some of the producers don’t even pay. A lot of them still owe us….. as we speak some of them are yet to settle their indebtedness.”
This is particular interesting: in that a few days ago, Hollywood star-Matt Damon announced that he will be taking a year break from acting because he is burnt out from the few movies (about 3 a year) he has been shooting on for the past few years.
And here were we have an actor across the ocean having shot about 500 movies in less than 10 years and still going.
