The Egyptian military has announced that it has killed the leader of the ISIS branch in Sinai.
A military spokesperson has stated the the leader of the Terror group-Abu Duaa al-Ansari was killed in strikes alongside 45 other ISIS fighters.
Egyptian military launched series of airstrikes near the town of Arish which killed the 46 militants including their leader and also destroyed arms and ammunition stores used by the group, the military wrote on its Facebook page.
However, there has not been confirmation from Sinai Province, Islamic State’s offshoot in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula on this.
