With the absence of a title sponsor for the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season, the Ghana Football Association have been forced to procure a trophy by themselves.
The fruits of their effort was unveiled at a press conference earlier today (Thursday) in Accra.
The new trophy is 67cm in height and 40cm in width. and was procured from Italy. The league winners at the end of the season would cart it off, with Accra Hearts of Oak currently occupying that space.
The league winners would also be presented with a $30,000 cash prize.
The Ghana Premier League continues with fixtures this weekend.
