Bola Ray, real name Nathan Kwabena Anokye-Adisi has come a long way—right from the bottom, he has risen to the top.
Currently, Bola Ray sits on top of two of the most powerful media groups in Ghana-EIB Broadcasting Network and Empire Group of Companies, as the CEO. But the journey has been thorny.
After 15 years of hosting Drive Time on radio from Top Fm to Starr Fm via his long stay at Joy Fm, Bola Ray has finally dropped the mic today, August 4, 2016.
He has handed over the challenge to a young determined voice-Giovani Caleb, who will co-host Starr Fm’s Drive Time show with Anita Erskine.
It’s been many years of talks for Bola Ray and the impact is immeasurable—therefore it is understandable, though painful, that he has decided to leave the mic behind to focus on governance and management of the two groups of companies he sits on top.
