Formerly known as Michael Kittrell, the YouTube Vlogger and star of the show ‘Hollywood Hillbillies’ has come out as transgender, revealing she’s in transition and now wants to be known as Claire.
According to Claire, she’s been hiding her identity for so long, and is now tired of hiding and wants to come out fully.
In a video to talk about the transition, Claire, who grew up in a pretty conservative household, revealed she has been undergoing hormone therapy for months, and talks about the difficulty of the change to everyone around her, especially her family.
“I’m fixing to be 24 years old and I’m’ not going to live another year of my life pretending to be someone else. I’m just not gonna do it.” she said in the video uploaded to YouTube, ‘I’m done pretending’.
“I don’t care if you call me ugly, if you call me a tranny, if you call me names, if you pick on me, that’s fine. You can call me names. But im gonna be myself whether you accept it or not.”
Kittrell was known as ‘Angry Ginger’ on Hollywood Hillbillies, a show that followed the Kittrell family as they attempted to make inroads into Hollywood.
