Author Of Game Of Thrones Source Books – George R.R Martin To Release 'New' Book To Commemorate 20th Anniversary

Author of the ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ series, the source books for HBO’s hit television show ‘Game of Thrones’ – George R.R Martin, has announced the release of a special book to commemorate the release of the series’ first book.
‘A Game of Thrones’ was the first book in the series, released in 1996 and which introduced the magical world of Westeros.
Despite insane anticipation for the sixth book in the series, ‘The Winds of Winter’, George spoke little about it in a blog post to mark the 20th anniversary. The only mention he made was to tell fans that he still was not finished.
The 20th anniversary edition of ‘A Game of Thrones’ would feature new illustrations of life in Westeros.
The book comes out in October.
