Information reaching GhanaCelebrities.Com has it that, veteran actor-George Williams of Ultimate Paradise fame has passed away today at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.
A few months ago, the veteran actor affectionately called Uncle George made news when he reportedly said he does not know watch Ghanaian movies anymore.
He said: “I’m afraid over the past few years I haven’t watched any Ghanaian movie because of some personal reasons…but I watch Mexican soaps and some few others and I feel very sad when it comes to our own domain to see what pertains there and I feel very sad about it…the standards need to be met… actually I don’t watch Ghanaian movies.”
George Williams has featured in several Ghanaian movies like Dogo Yaro,Ultimate Paradise, Mama, Genesis Chapter X, Bloody Kids and others.
George Williams’ niece confirmed his death to GhanaCelebrites.Com as having occurred about an hour ago.
