I’ve waited the whole day for the signs to start manifesting and they don’t seem to be coming, so I might as well do this and hope I’m not proven a fool in a few hours.
As we reported a couple weeks ago, a Christian group known as ‘End Times Prophecies’ in the United have had today, July 29 2016, tagged for months as the day the world will end. The group makes the claims in a wildly popular Youtube video (with over 5 million views and counting) titled not-so-subtly ‘Why The World Will End Surely On July 2016? Shocking Facts’
According to them, the second coming of Jesus is set to coincide with a magnetic polar flip which should destroy all life on earth. And they have managed to pinpoint that to exactly today.
“On the day which Jesus returns, there will be a polar reversal.” The narrator ominously says in the video.
“Revelations 6:12 says, ‘There was a violent earthquake, and the Sun became black like coarse black cloth, and the moon turned completely
“‘The stars fell down to the Earth, like ripe figs falling from the tree when a strong wind shakes it. Every mountain and island is moved from its place.
“The polar flip will make the stars race across the sky, and the vacuum createrd by the reeling of the Earth will pull the atmosphere along the ground, trying to catch up.
“The global earthquake will be so bad that every hill and mountain will crumble”
You would think one would notice such magnificent signs by now, but the skies remain positively unimpressed. Still, it’s barely noon on America’s west coast, so there’s still time.
In the meantime, I hope you’ve made your peace with God. Scripture says no one knows the hour the Son of Man cometh, but these guys are doing us a huge solid by giving us the date – ensuring we can all get into heaven with some last minute conversions. I know I’m changing my Facebook religious status from atheist to Christian for tonight.
So see you tomorrow, or NOT. I’m going to play one last game of soccer on my PC before the sh*t hits the fan.
