There is nothing these ‘men of God’ would not claim credit for, so we can’t say we’re the least bit surprised with this turn of events.
Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah has come out to declare that he prophesied the imprisonment of the infamous ‘Montie 3’ during his end of year sermon last year.
Owusu Bempah, speaking on Adom Fm after the sentencing of the two panellists and the show host, said that he had prophesied that some people would be jailed for speaking against Supreme Court judges but that as usual, nobody took him seriously.
“I prophesied that some people will be jailed for speaking against the Supreme Court judges and we prayed to stop it but people condemned me and it has come to pass” he said triumphantly on Adom Fm Wednesday.
Three people were jailed Wednesday for contempt, after they had threatened the lives of Supreme Court justices during a radio program on Montie Fm. The three – two panellists, Godwin Ako Gunn and Alistair Nelson, as well as the show host Salifu ‘Mugabe’ Maase – received four month jail sentences and a fine of Ghc 10,000, of which failure to pay would trigger another month’s prison stay.
