Ghanaian league leaders Accra Hearts of Oak SC have appointed Vincent Sowah Odotei as its Acting Managing Director, releasing an official statement to that effect.
The board of the hostorical club met Monday to plot the way forward, and decided to ascend Odotei to the role. He had been working in a limited capacity as chairman of a strategy committee set up by the board.
Odotei replaces Gerald Ankrah, who held the post for close to two years before resigning at the start of this year.
Sowah Odotei is a seasoned entrepreuner who has headed other teams in the past, including King Faisal and Heart of Lions, and Hearts of Oak. His appointment is effective immediately.
Vincent Sowah Odotei would also be vying to enter Parliament in this year’s elections, set to contest incumbent Nii Amasah Namoale of the NDC for the La Dadekotopon seat.
