A star studded line-up of artists have been lined up to headline the annual awareness program The Global Citizens Festival.
Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Metallica, Selena Gomez and Major Lazar are some of the blockbuster headliners teed up for the show, whilst special guest performers would include more mouth watering names –  Usher, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Ellie Goulding, Eddie Vedder, Yandel and Yusuf/Cat Stevens.
Hosts for the show, which aims at raising awareness to achieve UN humanitarian goals, includes Chelsea Handler, Deborra-lee & Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra, Salma Hayek Pinault and Seth Meyers.
The annual Global Citizens Festival aims to “harness actions from millions of Global Citizens around the world to hold world leaders accountable to the progress made toward achieving the Global Goals set out by the United Nations last year,”
The festival comes off on September 24 at the Great Lawn of New York’s Central Park, and is set to live stream on Youtube and MSNBC.
