VIDEO: The Amazing Story Of Ghanaian Entrepreneur Nana Yalley – Stowaway At Age 16 And Now Back With A Plan To Solve Our Power Crisis

It seems there are a ton of Ghanaian who might have contributed to some of man’s immense technological leaps, but whom we know so little of in this country.
Victor Lawrence is one of such people, and now we have the story of Nana Yalley – the pioneer of the internet initiative that would later give birth to the Netfllixes of this world.
Yalley is the Chief Executive Officer of the Agrobrasilia International Group Export, a company hellbent on solving the power challenges facing countries across the subregion. But he comes from far more humble beginnings.
Yalley was a stowaway on a ship from Takoradi at just age 16, which dropped him off in Liberia after he was discovered. Since then, he has built up an international profile that includes stints at Rupert Murdoch’s Fox and starting his own internet  based company.
His plan now is to introduce the use of ethanol, extracted from genetically modified sugar cane, to serve as an alternative energy source to solve the power challenges bedeviling Ghana and other countries across the sub region.
Yalley told his story during an appearance on Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV. Check it out below…
