Apparently Kumkum Bahgya is even more popular and talked about than the November General Elections. Whilst other celebrities are rallying behind and endorsing flagbearers of the various political parties, others of course have taken a rather uneventful turn—away from politics.
Kumkum Bahgya is a Hindu telenovela translated into our very own local dialect thus “Twi” telecasted on Adom TV. To say the novela is a sheer waste of airtime is like saying Dumsor is not that bad when the fact is the latter is actually suicidal.
Becca, the beautiful songstress says a day does not pass by without her watching this infamous series.
From her speech I can equally deduce that she wouldn’t miss it for all the sexy men in France. She said she stays glued to the screen at exactly 7pm and even watch the omnibus on Sundays though she never missed any of the weekly showings. She added that given the chance she would bring one character named Aaliyah from the screen a give her a deserving flogging.
Maybe I should start watching it,perhaps it isn’t as bad as it has been made to look.
