That must have been a pretty sweet couple of days.
Real Madrid star and one of Wales’ Euro 2016 heroes, Gareth Bale, has announced his engagement to the mother of his two children Emma Rhys-Jones.
Bale popped the question to Emma over the weekend, the same one they were enjoying to mark his 27th birthday ahead of the new season.
“She said yes!! This is a birthday weekend I won’t forget for a long time ” the winger posted on twitter excitedly.
Bale and Rhys-Jones have two kids together, 3-year-old Alba Violet and 6-month-old Nava Valentina; and seem destined to tie the knot soon.
