Two of the panellists on the radio station Montie Fm, who threatened the justices of the Supreme Court and were cited for contempt, have been found guilty by the court.
The two, Godwin Ako Gunn and Alistair Nelson, were found guilty by trial judge Sophia Akuffo when the case was called Monday.
She convicted them of scandalising the court, defying and lowering its authority and bringing it into disrepute.
The case was adjourned and sentencing for the contemnors set for July 27.
The pair were part of a combustible panel discussion on Montie Fm that was talking about the EC’s Supreme Court case when they passed comments threatening the justices.
The host of the show, Salifu Maase, more commonly known as Mugabe, and the owners of the station; are also embroiled in the same situation as they plead their case for why they should not be convicted of contempt.
