New Video: Katy Perry – 'Rise (NBC Olympic Version)'

Katy Perry has released the NBC music video for her new single “Rise”.
The song is the lead single off the 31-year-old’s much-awaited and upcoming fifth studio album, which will be released later this year.
“Rise” was written and recorded for the upcoming 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, and will be used by NBC as an anthem during its coverage of the games.
The Joseph Lee-directed video was premiered on Vevo today. Check it out below

Wow Katy killed it once again. The song is pure gold. Absolutely raaaaaaaad!
“Rise” is infectious and very hypnotizing, plus Katy’s vocals are really impressive. However I doubt she would be able to pull it off on live stage. We all know she is not the best of vocalist.
The visual is beautiful and very apt. It reminds me of Whitney Houston’s “One Moment In Time” video, which was done for 1988 Olympic Games.
Meanwhile the song has skyrocketed to the top US iTunes, toppling Britney Spears’ “Make Me”–which briefly topped the chart.
